Hiltron Gears for Space Tech Expo Europe 2026

Backnang, Germany, 19 October 2026: Building on nearly five decades of experience, Hiltron Communications is one of Europe's longest established specialists in the design, integration and maintenance of satellite systems. The company has a wide range of skills in equipping earth stations with steerable reflectors of up to 13 metres diameter, complete with DVB encoding and multiplexing, receive subsystems, tracking, and de-ice heating, as well as full monitor and control. Hiltron's design and integration capabilities also include mobile systems and related fibre-optics.

Hiltron will promote two new additions to its range of satcom-related products and supporting services at 2026 Space Tech Expo Europe in Bremen. The exhibition and its supporting conference will be held from Tuesday 17 through Thursday 19 November across 7 halls of the Messe Bremen. Hiltron will exhibit on stand E21 in Hall 4 as a member of DeSK, Deutsches Zentrum für Satelliten-Kommunikation e.V. (German Center for Satellite-Communications).

New: Hiltron encrypted satcom control module for HCS4

Scheduled for introduction at Space Tech Expo Europe 2026 will be a new communication module designed to integrate into the Hiltron HCS4 control unit. The HCS4 supports a wide range of functionalities for satcom ground terminals and is included in Hiltron's HACU antenna control system as well as Hiltron's HDCU de-ice system. The new module comes with Ethernet and SFP port for copper or fibre connections. It supports encrypted network communication and improved calculation power for a smooth user experience. The module is expected to be available by mid 2027.

Space Tech Expo Europe premiere: Hiltron HACUX-IDU2 17-inch touchscreen for HCS4

Also making its first Space Tech Expo Europe appearance will be Hiltron's HACUX-IDU2 17-inch touchscreen option for the HCS4. Housed in an 8U rack-mount, the touchscreen panel offers an efficient way to manage satellite earth stations. Designed for easy integration at a convenient location for the operator, the panel allows all HCS4, HACU and HDCU system parameters to be adjusted without need for an external keyboard or pointing device.

Also promoting: HMAM-XY motorised antenna mount

Hiltron will also promote its latest-generation HMAM-XY motorised antenna mount which can perform high-precision tracking of LEO and MEO satellites. The HMAM-XY accommodates prime focus reflectors of up to 2.5 metres diameter for frequencies up to Ka-band. Quick feed changes allowing multiband operation are available as an option. Fast acceleration combined with high tracking velocity and accuracy make the HMAM-XY ideal for a wide range of applications in the defence, broadcast and general telecommunications sectors.
